It’s time to enroll in your Hospitality Plan benefits.

Enrollment for the Hospitality Plan is coming up soon! Eligible Gate Gourmet Employees have an option to elect union health insurance coverage through the Hospitality Plan OR keep their stipend.

If you want to enroll in the Hospitality Plan, you must enroll yourself and any dependents by October 31, 2024. Your new benefits would start on January 1, 2025.

A certified copy of a Birth Certificate for your children

A certified copy of a Marriage Certificate for your spouse

The last day to enroll is October 31, 2024.

Your new benefits will start on January 1, 2025.

Will I have an option to choose between the health benefits or stipend again in the future?

If you choose to keep your stipend, you will also have another opportunity to enroll in the Hospitality Plan in the future. However, if you choose to enroll in the Hospitality Plan this year, you will not have an opportunity to return to the stipend in the future.

What would my provider network be with the Hospitality Plan?

You would have access to the national Blue Cross Blue Shield network.

Who can I add as my dependent?

You can add your legal spouse or a child dependent (up to age 26).

What if I can’t make it to the on-site event to enroll?

If you can’t make it to the event, you can enroll by phone or online up until October 31, 2024.

What are some of the copays with the Hospitality Plan?

Your copay is what you pay when you go to the doctor or get care. You usually pay it during your visit.Some of the copays are listed below:

Service Hospitality Gold Plus Plan Copay (In-Network)
Preventive Care: $0
Primary Care Visits: $20 per visit
Specialist Visits: $40 per visit
Urgent Care Visits: $40 per visit
Emergency Room Visits: $150 per visit (waived if admitted)
Hospital Stays: $250 per day ($750 max per admission)

A team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians at Hospitality Rx, which is part of UNITE HERE HEALTH — your union’s health fund.

*Current pharmacy benefit provider will actively manage and determine drugs in tier. Specialty drugs are only available through the specialty mail order pharmacy. However, if you take specialty medications as part of your HIV treatment plan, you may get an exception to use your network retail pharmacy.
